Saorsat is the new free satellite package from RTE the Irish National broadcaster, Saorsat broadcasts from Eutelsat 9 east in Ka Band and can be easily received on the Island of Ireland and in the South West of England and South Wales. Saorsat can be picked up in Northern England, Scotland or North Wales when you employ a larger satellite dish and a Ka Band LNB.

The TV channels available on SAORSAT are RTÉ One HD, RTÉ2 HD, RTÉ News Now, RTÉ junior, RTÉ One +1, RTÉ2 + 1 and TG4, together with RTÉ's radio stations and digital teletext called Aertel.
